About Us

We are the Mountain Falls Men's Golf Association, Pahrump Nevada. If you enjoy golf, friendly competition and making new friends we would enjoy meeting you. We play at the Mountain Falls Golf Course, Pahrump. Golf is on Tuesday mornings and we generally have shotgun starts beginning at 6:30 AM in summer. Minutes From Our Last Meetings

  • Meeting on 11/19/2019
  • The meeting was called to order by President Steve Plotkin.  The minutes from the last meeting were read and the minutes were approved by a voice vote. A treasury report was given. Under new business the meeting turned to elections for the 2020 year. A motion to have all the officers from 2019 to retain their current positions was motioned and seconded. The motion was passed unanimously by a voice vote. A motion to adjourn was asked for, seconded and approved.

  • Meeting on 10/22/2019

  • The meeting was called to order by the president Steve Plotkin.  The minutes from the last meeting were read and the minutes were approved by a voice vote. The treasurers report was given. We added over $800 into the club tournament prize fund. The post party including tips came to $650. It was decided that pizza will come out before chicken wings as the club set a record for eating chicken wings: New business: The club championship was won by Deron Jones in an 18 hole playoff 74-77. There was discussion and motion was made to continue a hole to hole playoff in case there is a tie after 54 holes. The motion ended up in a tie.  Steve Plotkin and members decided if we can get the extra holes approved we would continue on, however, if we were not granted access to the course a card off would determine the official winner. The rake and place club rule was discussed and will continue on until course conditions improve. Rules were discussed for holes 9 and 11. The official club rule is as follows: If you do not see the ball, as determined by your foursome, go out of bounds it is a free placement at the nearest point of relief. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FIND YOUR BALL. The current board was asked to continue for another year and all members agreed. However, elections will be held  on  November 19th and anyone wishing to run can contact Steve Plotkin or any board member. Steve Plotkin asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting which was made and approved.
